About me
Laura Jaeger is a mixed-media artist currently based in Naarm, Melbourne.
Exploring different visual narratives whose work explores the connections between light, memory, and cycles around perception.
creating photo media, sound, live visual mixing, video creation, content creation, art direction and concept ideation.
From a young age, Jaeger has been deeply immersed in the world of creativity.
She actively engages in video and audio productions, singing, music, photography, and various forms of art.
Through a visual language built with both analogue and digital processes, layered imagery and mixed-media experimentation.
Blending photography, material experimentation, and conceptual design, her practice reflects on the personal and the collective experience, where emotion, soul and environment converge through image and form.
Her connection to the craft is further enriched by her strong interest in theosophy and history.
As the co-proprietor of her family business, Ankh Antiquarian Books, she specialises in rare and valuable books on the ancient histories of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Rome, as well as on metaphysics and theology.
Jaeger graduated from Swinburne University in 2025 with a Degree in Design, majoring in Photo Media and Visual Communication.
